LONDON and NEW YORK – 21 November 2013 – Last night Sefaira was awarded the accolade as a top 100 global technology company at the 2013 Red Herring 100 awards in Los Angeles. Red Herring’s Top 100 Global list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay would change the way we live and work.
Winning companies were chosen as the companies demonstrating the most innovative technologies and business models originating from over 1,000 companies from over 40 nations. The selection criteria were a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics, including technology innovation, financial performance, growth criterion, management’s execution standards, potential globalization of the strategy and market share improvement. This assessment of potential was complemented by a review of the track records and standing of startups relative to their peers, allowing Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models from around the world.
“Choosing the companies with the strongest potential was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across the globe to the Top 100 Winners. We believe Sefaira embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Sefaira should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was the strongest it has ever been.”
Sefaira’s CEO Mads Jensen said “We work hard to bring the very best software into the hands of building designers across the world, and we are super proud that the team’s efforts have been recognised with this award as a leading technology company.”
