Join us for presentations on Performance-Based Design at Booth #2719:
- The Science of High Performing Environments – George Athens, NELSON
An exploration of the rapidly advancing science shaping what we create and how we create it.
Thursday, May 19th at 2 pm & Friday, May 20th at 12 pm.
- G.I. Joe Was Certainly Prophetic – Jason Hainline, LEED Fellow, Dake Wells Architecture
Energy analysis is no longer reserved for large complex projects requiring consultant engineers to run complex models. Architects now have the ability to receive real time feedback, and they have the ability to do so at the earliest stages of design…and in ways that even an architect can understand! What will they do with all of that knowledge?
Friday, May 20th at 1 pm.
- Performance-Based Design in Action – Kerger Truesdell, Sefaira
The demand for high-performance design is growing rapidly. Through customer case studies, a framework will be presented for Performance-Based Design, an approach to building design that considers resource use, occupant experience, and environmental impact from the earliest stages of the project. Attendees will gain an actionable framework to apply a performance-based approach on their projects, and to integrate Performance-Based Design within their firms.
Friday, May 20th at 3 pm & Saturday, May 21st at 10:15 am.
